With Gangs of Sherwood being multiplayer and available on multiple platforms, I'm sure all of us will want to know whether or not we can play together across platforms. We have the answer for you below!
Is Gangs of Sherwood multiplayer cross-platform?
The short and sweet answer is—no; unfortunately, Gangs of Sherwood will not allow crossplay upon release. Although this experience is very clearly designed to play multiplayer, allowing players to make up the full Merry Men gang, the team has given no indications that we will be able to do so across platforms. Currently, the available platforms for the game include Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, but players looking to play multiplayer will need to do so on the same platform.

Although this is a bummer, it is a feature that could be changed in the near future. Oftentimes, developers will want to fully optimize the game on all platforms separately for release before they open it up to crossplay.
