Where to free all prisoners in Locksley Gangs of Sherwood

It's important to free prisoners so that you can earn the people's favour. The more favour you have, the more Techniques you will unlock, and the more things you will be able to purchase with gold, which can be found in chests hidden around the missions as well.

During the mission, "The Fall of Locksley," you can find five different cages of prisoners you can free. You may miss them on your first time since they can easily blend into the background, but keep an eye out for cages with glowing purple lights. Here's some help tracking them all down.

City Hall Square

You'll come across the first cage of prisoners right outside City Hall Square. This is one that was easily missable, especially since it isn't listed as a quest objective. However, you'll spot them blocking a gateway between two torches on the far wall.

The second cage of prisoners is a little more obvious, located toward the center of City Hall Square, diagonal from the ladder. You can free them only after defeating the enemies, including the second wave of enemies from the drop ship.

The next set of villagers is a little more tucked away toward the wall, but you're sure to see it after fighting the enemies in Belfry Hospital Square and heading toward the gate to the next area. It's just off to the left of the gate.

After clearing the City Pier and entering the warehouse, you'll need to make your way to the Stock Area. You'll find the next set of prisoners as you make your way there, tucked in the corner of the warehouse right before the exit to the checkpoint.

Drawbridge

The last villagers in Locksley are the ones that stuck out to me the most since they are the hardest to overlook, and that is because they are located right in the last area of the mission. This drawbridge exit out of Locksley is where you'll face Sir Barker of Nottingham. After defeating him, you can free the villagers.

Freeing all five cages or prisoners will earn you a lot of favour with the people and help you unlock some more worthwhile Techniques for your Merry Men. Don't worry if you miss any of them; you can always play through the mission another time and collect it.
