Clearwater Jade is a Genshin Impact local specialty that can only be found in Chenyu Vale. Here's everything you need to know about how to collect Clearwater Jades, which are also used as Ascension materials for Xianyun and possibly other characters in the future.

Where to find Clearwater Jade in Genshin Impact

Clearwater Jades are native to Chenyu Vale, so they can't be found anywhere else in Teyvat. You'll find them scattered around the region separating Liyue and Fontaine, relatively clustered together and easily accessible via Teleport Waypoints.

It primarily grows in two forms: near rocks like common ore and as a gemstone attached to wildlife, making it quite hard to spot and time-consuming to farm. Reference the Clearwater Jade icons above for their exact locations.

You can only farm a limited number of Clearwater Jades every two days. If you run out of them in your World, consider entering another person's World through co-op play, but remember to ask permission before farming their resources.

How to farm Clearwater Jade in Genshin Impact

While Clearwater Jade is a local specialty, it's an ore-type gem, so you need to farm it like common ores. Bring either a Geo DMG dealer or a claymore user, as their heavy attacks will be able to shatter the ores housing the Clearwater Jades.

Clearwater Jades can sometimes be found near rocks (like the second image above). But they also grow on top of turtles' backs (like the first image above), so keep an eye out for them when farming in the wild. You will have to attack the turtles just like rocks to extract the Jades.
