To unlock the Breezy Snapshots photography challenge, you must first complete the Windblume Encounter called A Gathering of Outlanders. Once that's done, you'll unlock an Event Quest called Breezy Snapshots, which involves speaking to Fassben in front of Cider Lake. A new map icon called Windblume Leisure will appear, and all three event-limited activities will be held in this area.

Note Settings

You can configure every aspect of your gameplay to make it comfortable for you. Here's a breakdown of the possible settings you can toggle and what they do. Click the links below for a more detailed overview of each setting.

Basic

  • Beat Note Sound - We highly recommend turning this on to hear the sound of every note
  • Calibration - Adjusts the acceptable tap delay upon clicking a note
  • Note Falling Speed - Adjusts how fast the notes fall
  • Background Effects - Turning this on dims the background, making the falling notes easier to see

Interface

  • Instrument - Changes the color of the notes
  • Falling Mode - Allows you to choose between a horizontal or curved tap zone
  • Note Guide - Adds a vertical line on each point in the tap zone
  • Continuous Playing Effects - turning this on adds special combo animations

Lastly, the Key Bindings section allows you to map out which point in the tap zone pertains to keys in your keyboard or controller.

There are six points on the tap zone at the bottom of the screen. There are times when you need to tap or hold two notes at the same time. To play:

  • Single note - tap as soon as it hits the corresponding point on the tap zone
  • Hold note - tap and hold until the bar closes in, then let go when the second note hits the point on the tap zone

Don't forget to claim rewards in the event menu after completing a beatmap. If you're feeling adventurous, you can create your own or play beatmaps made by others!
