Genshin Impact 1.2 has already had a fair number of events, and it will continue to have them until 1.3, and then it'll continue! Are you ready for a boss battle event?

The gate to an unknown domain has opened, and within it await powerful unseen Hypostases.

Hypostatic Symphony Event

In this Genshin Impact event called Hypostatic Symphony, players will enter a Domain and fight a never-before-seen boss, called the Pure Hypostases. During this fight, you will accumulate points; when you have scored enough, you'll be awarded a special namecard Celebration Hypostases and other rewards.

On a first time clear, you will be awarded with Primogems!

Event Duration and Eligibility

The event starts on Jan. 16 at 10 am and will end on Jan 31, 03:59 am.

To be able to join this event, you have to be Adventure Rank 20 or above. If you are under, sadly, you cannot join this event.

Event Details

On Jan. 16, when the event starts, a new challenge will be unlocked every single day until Jan. 24, which will be the seventh day of the event. This means there is a total of seven challenges.

You have the option before every challenge to select different variations of the challenge. For example, you can make it more difficult or add special battle effects, such as elemental effects. The harder you make the challenge, the more points you will receive upon completing it, risk-reward.

It is entirely possible to play the event solo or via Co-op. The choice is completely yours. We are unsure of how this will affect the points awarded.

There is no limit to how many times you can take on a challenge. For each one, you can set a high score that you can try and aim to beat. Whether using the variations to make it more difficult to earn more points. Once all challenges are completed, you will earn a Total Score.

This Total Score is all of your challenges high scores added up. If it is high enough, you can claim the rewards. If not, go back and repeat the challenges to get the best scores you can.

Remember, the points will disappear when the event ends on Jan. 31, so remember to use up all your points in time!

Variations

As we said above, variations are difficulty modifiers that you can turn on before attempting a challenge for increased awarded points. These could include debuffing and buffs; however, you also have the option to decrease the difficulty, by giving your characters buffs, but this will decrease the amount of points awarded.

To get started on the challenge, the variations difficultly must be at 0, or the challenge can not be started.

Here is a list of some of the variations you control:

  • Difficulty Level
  • Challenge time may not exceed 300 seconds.
  • Challenge time may not exceed 180 seconds.
  • Challenge time may not exceed 120 seconds.
  • Opponents' HP increased by 25%
  • Opponents' HP increased by 50%
  • Opponents' HP increased by 100%
  • Opponents' Cyro Resistance increased by 50%
  • Opponents' Physical Resistance increased by 50%

Event Rewards

The first time you complete every challenge, you will be awarded Primogems. There is a total of 420 Primogems to be won from all seven challenges. You get 60 per challenge.

If you managed to reach a Total Score of a certain amount, you can claim additional prizes. We said above that the Total Score is the high score of all seven challenges added together.

If you get a Total Score of 1000, you can claim a prize. Then every 1000 up until 14000, you can claim more prizes. When you reach 14000, it then goes up in increments of 1500 until you hit the maximum Total Score of 20000.

This means there are 18 prizes to be won!
