Genshin Impact leaker @Ubatcha1 recently revealed a slew of possible content upcoming until Version 3.0 on Twitter, including a skin and Hangout Event for Fischl—both of which are supposedly going to drop in Version 2.8.
It's not the first time leaks about Fischl's skin surfaced. Earlier this year, information about possible Diluc and Fischl skins was leaked in the Chinese forums and was cross-posted in r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks. There hasn't been word about their in-game appearance since, despite multiple updates coming to pass.
But the recent news surrounding Fischl's skin could possibly go hand-in-hand with the long-awaited sequel to the Unreconciled Stars event, where she played a major role. The event first launched in Version 1.1 and never made a rerun, but leakers revealed that a sequel may release in the near future.
Considering how Version 2.7 will focus on Yelan and Kuki Shinobu and Version 3.0 will focus on Sumeru, it's not a stretch to believe that the best time for Unreconciled Stars—and Fischl's skin and Hangout—to come is in Version 2.8.
Genshin Impact often releases a four-star and five-star character Outfit hand-in-hand, which could mean that Diluc's skin (which may look similar to his KFC costume), teased in the earlier leak, could be released in conjunction. But if Fischl's skin will thematically align with Unreconciled Stars, her five-star pair could also be Mona, as the latter played a much bigger role in the first event.
It's currently still very early for these leaks to surface, as the Version 2.7 beta has yet to start, so take the information with a grain of salt and remember that nothing is confirmed. That said, don't get your hopes too high up!
