Genshin Impact Theater Mechanicus: Springtide Advent (Enter the Horde) guide — Hues of the Violet Garden Event

Watch the enemies' steps to beat this stage.

Genshin Impact's Hues of the Violet Garden event opens Inazuma to the rest of Teyvat with the Magnificent Irodori Festival. It runs from April 7, 2022, to April 25, 2022, and is open to all players Adventure Rank 30 and above who have completed the Ritou Escape Plan segment of the Archon Quest: Chapter II: Act I - The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia.

If you have not completed the Inazuma character Story Quests, you must access the event from the Quick Start button on the bottom left of the event menu.

How to Unlock Theater Mechanicus

The Theater Mechanicus mini-game can be unlocked by completing the Event Quest What the Blue Flowers Left Behind. This directly follows The Strange Tale of Suikou's Tipsy Tincture.

Unlike the previous iterations of Theater Mechanicus, the mechanics for this round are a little different. Co-op mode is no longer allowed, and Mystic Arts have been replaced by Fortune Sticks, which can't be enhanced. Each stage boasts an easy mode (Show of Force) and a hard mode (Enter the Horde).

Fortune Sticks

You can use any Fortune Stick that you like, but here are some recommended options to take advantage of Superconduct Reactions and Binding Mechanici.

  • Fortune Stick: Uninhibited
  • Fortune Stick: Silver Lining
  • Fortune Stick: Vengeance
  • Fortune Stick: Jolt
  • Fortune Stick: Stoic Thunder
  • Fortune Stick: Chains
  • Fortune Stick: Shackles
  • Fortune Stick: Hidden Sting
  • Mystic Stick: Lightning Speed

Mechanici Placement

Reference the image above for the exact Mechanici placement that can help you get a perfect score of 3,000 in this stage. Keep in mind that you need to pair this composition with the Fortune Sticks above for the best results. Make sure that your Mechanici count is exactly 10 like the reference photo, as Veneficus Points don't recover in this stage—you need to save at least 250.

After copying the placements above, start the wave and relax until there are 34 enemies left.

Your goal is to construct a Binding Mechanicus at the exact moment the following enemies are nearby:

  • Group of Mitachurls (twice)
  • Stonehide Lawachurl (twice, but you must bind two together the second time)
  • Frostarm Lawachurl (once)

A tip is to open the construction window and select the Binding Mechanicus in advance so that you don't accidentally place the wrong tower on the field.

The Binding Mechanicus will keep the enemies in place, deal some damage against them, and help break their shields. This will allow the nearby Elemental Mechanici to finish them off before they leak. If you don't bind some large enemies in time, don't worry, as you only need 2,500 points to get all the rewards.
