How to get the Gravity Front Challenger Series VIII Achievement in Genshin Impact

Gravity Front is a Genshin Impact Challenger: Series VIII Achievement, which encompasses bosses in the Fontaine region. To obtain it, you need to defeat the Experimental Field Generator without being hit by a "Gravity Ripple."

The Experimental Field Generator will unleash a plethora of attacks in battle, but only one counts as the Gravity Ripple. If you're having trouble identifying it, read on to find out how.

How to defeat an Experimental Field Generator without being hit by a "Gravity Ripple" in Genshin Impact

At the start of battle, the Experimental Field Generator will barrage you with various attacks before jumping into the air and entering the gravity state. Pay attention to the notice at the top of the screen. Once the message pops up, the boss will begin preparing to attack you with the Gravity Ripple.

As soon as you see the notice at the top of the screen, I recommend running and climbing onto the surrounding walls and waiting until the Experimental Field Generator finishes unleashing a series of Gravity Ripples. The skill is pictured above.

You can't use a shield to avoid taking a hit. Some players have also reported that Co-op mode interferes with this Achievement, so make sure you're in solo mode.

It's also important to make sure that there is nothing on the ground. If the Gravity Ripple hits summons such as Geo Constructs like Zhongli's Pillar and Ningguang's screen, Furina's summons, Guoba, and similar objects, then it will count as a hit. Likewise, indirect summons like Dendro Cores and Crystallize Shards can also get hit by the Gravity Ripple and will bar you from getting the Achievement.

There are a couple of ways you can cheese your way through this Achievement and make it a lot easier to get:

• Use Wanderer's Elemental Skill to fly.
• Use Venti's Elemental Skill (hold version) to summon a wind current and glide.
• Use a Wind Catcher Gadget to summon a wind current and glide.

After avoiding the Gravity Ripples, you can proceed with defeating the boss, but keep in mind that you'll have to follow the steps above every time the boss enters the gravity state. You will get the Gravity Front Achievement when you successfully defeat the boss without getting hit by any of the Gravity Ripples.
