How to solve the Weathered Obelisk puzzle at Liloupar’s Cell in Genshin Impact

We'll help you figure it out!

As you make your way through The Dirge of Bilqis World Quest in Genshin Impact, you'll eventually free Liloupar, a Jinn in a bottle, from her tree of a cell. The tree will die after you do so, but this change in environment will reveal an optional Weathered Obelisk puzzle for you to solve with a Luxurious Chest as your reward. Here's how to solve it.

What symbols to use in the Weathered Obelisk puzzle at Liloupar's Cell in Genshin Impact

To solve this puzzle, you'll need to light up three Dendro pillars around the tree. Two of them are locked by Weathered Obelisk puzzles. The third will only unlock after defeating a Consecrated Beast.

In Weathered Obelisk Puzzles, you'll be challenged by a set of brown stones with blinking symbols on them. You'll need to find a corresponding set of obelisks hidden nearby. These obelisks will have a stationary set of runes depicted on them. After finding the stationary symbols, return to the obelisks with blinking symbols. Attack the obelisks with blinking symbols to change the symbol that's showing, until the symbols on the blinking obelisks match that of the obelisks with stationary symbols.

The first Dendro pillar is nearby the entrance to the cavern that Liloupar's Cell is in. It's surrounded by three obelisks with blinking symbols facing toward the pillar. Destroying the bushes around this pillar will help you clearly see all three obelisks. The matching stationary set is resting in the crumbling walls across the cobblestone path.

If you don't want to memorize them, the three symbols are pictured below. They look like waves, a snake, and three dots. Attack the obelisks surrounding the pillar to unlock it, then apply Dendro to the unlocked pillar to light it up.

The second Dendro pillar is to the right of the large, dead tree that was Liloupar's Cell. The blinking obelisks you'll need to change the symbols on are to the left of that pillar. And the stationary obelisks are far to the right of the Dendro pillar, surrounding a smaller dead tree. Again, the symbols you'll need to show are pictured below. From left to right they look like two dots and a snake, a fancy H, and a triangle climbing stairs. Light up the second Dendro pillar after you've unlocked it.

The third Dendro pillar is behind Liloupar's Cell and a bit to the right. As you approach it, a Consecrated Scorpion will appear. Defeat it to unlock the pillar, then apply Dendro to it to light it up. Once all three pillars are lit, the Luxurious Chest will appear in front of the entrance to Liloupar's old Cell.
