How to use the Serenitea Pot (and what does it do?) in Genshin Impact

One of the most exciting rumors about the upcoming Genshin Impact 1.5 update, scheduled for April 27-28, is the introduction of a brand new housing system. The Serenitea Pot will play a key role in accessing your Homeworld, so read on to learn all about it.

Note: The Serenitea Pot, as with other Genshin Impact 1.5 rumors, has not yet been officially confirmed. Details of this event are liable to change.

You'll need to equip the Serenitea Pot from your inventory and interact with it in order to enter your Homeworld, where you can then customize your home to your liking. To aid you in this particular quest is a friendly teapot spirit, who will assist you with all teapot-related inquiries.

The materials you gather out in the wild (including ones you may not get to use often, like silk flowers) can be used to create all kinds of new items from the Creation screen within the Serenitea Pot. Once you create an item from this menu, you can position it within your house by using the Place function.

There is a neat little system within Homeworld called the Adeptal Energy Rank, which increases as you place furnishings. The more your Adeptal Energy Rank increases, the faster you'll earn Realm Currency—a gift from the gods! You can spend this Realm Currency on various items for your new home.

Along with the teapot spirit, there is also a Teapot Traveling Salesman who will occasionally bring rare treasures on his visits. If you still haven't met the Salesman, you can travel to a friend's Homeworld to stand a better chance at catching him!

Another new addition that the Homeworld system promises is the ability to chop down trees all over Teyvat. You'll need lots of wood to build your house, so get ready to start swinging!
