Who is Bosacius in Genshin Impact?

Bosacius is one of the five strongest Yakshas to have graced Liyue. Of the five strongest Yakshas, Bosacius was the one to go into hiding or may have turned into a hermit. Not much is known about their fate. The only time we hear about Bosacius in Genshin Impact is from the strange Yaksha tablet during the map quest "A Yaksha's Wish."

This tablet contains a message from Bosacius that could very well be their last message in this world. The message is as follows:

"My name is Bosacius, one of the Yakshas. I followed my Lord to fight against and contend with pestilence. Yet though we Yakshas had great might, we were bound by our duties, and stained by them"

"Liyue is now at peace, but of our number, none but Alatus and I remain. And for my part, I wish to depart, to be done with this world."

"My wealth I leave here, sealed by my arts. If you are fated to do so, take them as you please."

That said, this text answers very little about the identity of Bosacius. What it does is raise more questions about their identity and their fate. Hopefully, as the days go by, we'll see a new character based on Bosacius.
