Who is Yoimiya in Genshin Impact?

Dataminers will always find the latest information, but one thing that is always uncertain is when their findings will be released in the game. One such character that was found alongside Kazuha was Yoimiya. Yet there is already tons of information about Kazuha but nothing about Yoimiya.

Who is Yoimiya

Yoimiya is apparently strongly connected to the Electro Archon—Baal. Baal is very much uncertain whether she will be a playable character or not, but she protects and resides over Inazuma, which has been the name of many people's lips since version 1.1.

Due to the ties between the two, it's safe to suspect that Yoimiya is from the Inazuma region and may be a Shrine Maiden of the Electro Archon. Ayaka is another upcoming character from the early Genshin Impact beta, has a voice line about Yoimaya.

Organizing festivals and ceremonies is the responsibility of the Shabugyo and the shrine maidens, and our handler of fireworks really knows how to build an exhilarating atmosphere. Although this summer, I've decided not to ask her to oversee the fireworks because... I don't want Tohma to apologize to the firefighting teams again.

What Weapon and Element does Yoimiya wield?

Yoimiya has been datamined to be a Five-Star Pyro Bow user. Take it with a pinch of salt, but datamined information has yet to be wrong about a character vision or weapon.

If you need a crackshot at aiming for weakpoints, and happen to like the Pyro element, then Yoimiya will be perfect for you.

When will Yoimiya be released?

Even though Yoimiya was leaked with Kazuha, her character model has not been found yet, and no other data has been found.

However, information has been leaked to the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Discord about the next Banners coming for 1.7. But like always, take this with a grain of salt. The first Banner to make an appearance is Yoimiya.
