How to get the red chest behind the gate in the Lower Wildwoods in God of War Ragnarok

How do you open this early chest?

God of War Ragnarok has plenty of collectibles and secrets for players to find during their playthrough. One of the trickier puzzles that players will encounter is the red chests that can be found dotted around the world. These chests contain upgrading materials and sometimes currency that Kratos can use later in the game. They are definitely worth grabbing when they're spotted.

Players may notice a small opening to the left of the gate. This takes some exploring to discover as it is a bit out of the way, but once it is found, Kratos can squeeze through and reach the chest. The chest is just a short walk from this location once players have squeezed through, and there aren't any other puzzles associated with it.
