Runic summons make a return with God of War Ragnarök. Though, this time it's not just Atreus that gets in on the fun. After making peace with the exiled Valkyrie Queen Freya, Kratos is able to enlist her aid and harness her tremendous Runic Summons. Here's a rundown of each one and where to find them.

God of War Ragnarök Runic Summons
Rampaging Ibex (Atreus)
- Location: Legendary Chest in The Lost Sanctuary.
- Effect: Summons a spectral ibex to ride and charge into enemies.
Falcon's Dive (Atreus)
- Location: Looted from the ogre's body in the Into the Fire quest.
- Effect: Summons spectral falcons that disrupt enemies and dive into the ground. Falcons apply the status of the equipped Runic Arrow.
Wrath of the Wolf (Atreus)
- Location: Legendary Chest in the Unleashing Hel quest in Helheim.
- Effect: Summons three wolves that pounce on enemies. Upgrades increase the number of wolves.
Bitter Squirrel (Atreus)
- Location: Legendary Chest in the Unlocking the Mask quest in Niflheim.
- Effect: Summons a spectral squirrel that scavenged a Healthstone.

Seidr Exhale (Freya)
- Location: Reward for completing The Reckoning.
- Effect: Freya exhales a cloud of poison gas that seeks out enemies and disrupts them.
Steel Harmony (Freya)
- Location: Reward when Freya obtains Mardoll at the end of Freya's Missing Peace Favor.
- Effect: Freya lashes out with spectral blades that can damage targets from a medium range.
Invoke the Storm (Freya)
- Location: Reward for completing the Freyr's Gift Favor.
- Effect: Freya charges up a large AoE spell that triggers several small explosions.
The Queen's Roar (Freya)
- Location: Defeat the Valkyrie Queen, Gna in Muspelheim.
- Effect: Freya takes to the sky before letting out a battle cry and slamming down to the ground in an AoE attack.
Note that some Runic Summons can't be obtained until late in the game or even after completing it. God of War Ragnarök isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. As such, take your time with it and enjoy it. It's a big world with plenty to do.
