God of War Ragnarök expands upon much of its predecessor but carries over many familiar features. This includes chests sealed shut with runic magic. To open these locked Nornir chests, you need to complete various puzzles. All Torch locations for the Barrens Nornir Chest in God of War Ragnarök

You must find three torches and activate the Nornir Chest in The Barrens in God of War Ragnarök. Fortunately, all three are found right around the central hill where the chest is located on. This is directly in front of the massive skeletal creature. Here is where to find all torches for the Barrens Nornir Chest in God of War Ragnarök.

Torch #1

The first torch is incredibly easy to find. It is located on the rocks to the left of the Nornir Chest. Simply attach your Blades of Chaos to the torch to activate it.

Torch #2

Circle around to the right, and you will find a torch on the backside of the rocky outcropping. Throw your Blades of Chaos at it to activate the torch. Make sure you are close enough, or you will whiff your throw.

Torch #3

Finally, return to the Nornir Chest but do not climb on the platform. Look up, and you will spot the torch beside a bomb. Throw your Leviathan Axe at the bomb to activate it, and light the third and final torch.

After you have activated all three torches, return to the Nornir Chest. It will now be glowing gold and can be opened. Inside you will find a Horn of Blood Mead. Collect three of these to increase your Rage.
