Can you be a police officer in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – Definitive Edition

I'm Batman!

In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Definitive Edition, there is no way to become a police officer. Vigilante missions do not make the player a police officer, and wearing the uniform will not fool officers.

However, pretending to be one is just as much fun. Here's how to get as close as you can:

GTA San Andreas' Cop uniform is the Los Santos Police Department's. This uniform consists of a black shirt, a white T-shirt, black pants, black shoes, and a police belt, similar to a medic's uniform.

Even if Carl Johnson wears a uniform, the police can open fire on him if he enters a police station while armed or the Impound Garage in San Fierro while armed.
Carl is given the uniform by Barbara Schternvart, CJ's girlfriend, after having a 100 percent relationship with him. Players can find the uniform in CJ's Wardrobe.

CJ can then steal a police officer's car or motorcycle from there. Once they are on vigilante missions, they can assume the role of a police officer.
