When it comes to the Grand Theft Auto series, nothing is more iconic than the radio stations. Players can cycle through countless stations and hear different types of music or talk radio. But if you possibly want to stream this game to a service like Twitch, you may not be able to listen to the copyrighted music.
Twitch follows a DMCA policy that prohibits streamers from playing copyrighted music during their streams. In most newer games, there is usually an option to turn off any licensed music from playing. So, if you are curious about this option in GTA 3 - The Definitive Edition, you may be left a little disappointed.
How to Turn It Off
Unfortunately, the short answer is No. There is no option in the settings to turn off just the licensed music found in the game. But there are a few other options:

- Under the Audio tab in the Options menu, you can set the radio to remain off at all times. So whenever you get into a vehicle it will stay turned off.
- Another choice is to turn the Music Volume all the way down to zero to avoid any kind of music, just in case. This would of course turn off the soundtrack as well, so not the best option, but an option nonetheless.
- Finally, you can always just turn off the radio manually in a vehicle. On console, using the directional pad will allow you to navigate to the Radio Off setting.
