In a game like GTA San Andreas, players need to make a quick transition to a new weapon all the time. There is a simple way to do this without going deep into your game menu—you just need to press the correct button on your controller!
With the remastered version of the game, there are some changes to the control scheme for switching your weapon. The list below shows you which button you need to press.

Fun Fact: Anyone that played San Andreas when it came out for the first Xbox system might remember that the White and Black buttons on the Xbox Controller were how you changed weapons. This has, of course, been changed since those buttons no longer exist for the newer systems. They have been reassigned to the Right Bumper and Left Bumper buttons, which didn’t exist on the original Xbox controller!
