How to use a police vehicle siren in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – Definitive Edition

When playing GTA San Andreas, you will occasionally need to steal a police car if there are no other vehicles nearby. Some players may want to engage the siren for fun, while some of us may need to turn it off if they stole it in the middle of a shootout with the police. However, the game doesn’t provide a tutorial on how to do this.

Luckily, there is an easy way to use the police siren — press the same button you would use to honk the horn! Here is how to use the horn/siren based on the platform that you’re using.

  • Xbox: Press Left Joystick
  • PlayStation: Press Left Joystick (L3)
  • PC: H

Using the keys/buttons above will toggle the siren on or off. The police sirens can be useful when you’re trying to get somewhere quickly, as it will make other cars attempt to get out of your way!
