Switch players must purchase Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy from Nintendo's eStore to play it. This has caused many have wonder what they need to do to buy it. Luckily, to play Guardians of the Galaxy, you do not need a Nintendo Switch Online Membership.
Nintendo does, however, require some things in order to play Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
To access the Nintendo eShop, you need a Nintendo account. A regular Nintendo account is entirely free, unlike the Nintendo Switch Online Membership, which is $20 a year. You will also need a Nintendo Switch (of course).

As the game is "Cloud-Based," it doesn't take up much storage space on the Nintendo Switch. Because of this, Nintendo recommends that every buyer has a strong internet connection before purchasing the game.
Due to this game's size and graphic capabilities, we also recommend that only those with a strong internet connection consider purchasing it. This game is best purchased for a different console or service if you have a weak internet connection.
