How to Troubleshoot when EA servers are down
If you find no evidence EA servers are down and there are no known issues or downtime in your game, your next step is to start troubleshooting your devices and home network:
- Close the game you're trying to play and confirm your console, PC, or mobile device has a working internet connection.
- If the device doesn't work, check another device in your home to see if it is a problem with the local device or the home network.
- If all devices on the home network are unable to connect, check the status lights on your gateway (modem/router) and power cycle the gateway by leaving the power unplugged for 30 seconds minimum.
- If your device can connect to the internet and things like browsers and other games are working, double check the Twitter account linked above to see if any announcements have been made regarding an outage.
