Pokémon GO November Community Day – Shiny Teddiursa and Ursaluna Debut

Niantic has announced the Community Day event for November 2022. This is separate from the Community Day Classic event, taking place on November 5, 2022, that will feature Dratini. The standard Community Day event for November 2022 will feature Teddiursa. The event will be held from 2pm to 5pm local time on Saturday, November 12, 2022.

Featured Pokémon

Teddiursa's shiny form has been available in Pokémon GO for a while and was prominently featured in the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 celebrations. While it has been available in the past, not all players were able to get their hands on this shiny variant. This Community Day also brings players the opportunity to evolve Teddiursa into a whole new evolution, Ursaluna.

Featured Attack

Evolving a Teddiursa into its further evolutions (Ursaring and Ursaluna) will grant players a Pokémon with the move High Horsepower. This is a great Ground-type move that can be used effectively against pesky Steel or Electric-type Pokémon.

To evolve an Ursaring into an Ursaluna, players will need to do so in the short period following the event hours on Saturday, November 12, 2022. There will be a period of time (November 12, 2022, at 2pm local time to November 13, 2022, at 6am local time) where players can witness a full moon in the skies of Pokémon GO. During these hours, Ursaring can be evolved into Ursaluna for 100 Teddiursa Candy.

Event Bonuses

There are a few great Event Bonuses for players to take advantage of during this event. The full list can be found below.

• Triple the amount of Stardust for Pokémon catches.
• Double the chance for players (above level 31) to obtain XL Candy from Pokémon catches.
• Double the amount of Candy for Pokémon catches.
• Lure Modules activated during the event hours will last for three hours.
• Incense activated during the event hours will last for three hours.
• Trades made during the event will cost half the normal amount of Stardust.
