Fans are loving the Sangheili skull shoulder armor in the Halo Infinite Season 2 Lone Wolves launch trailer

Proudly display your trophies.

343 Industries is launching a Season 2 of Halo Infinite this May. And while the trailer doesn't show off much, there is some key art at the end that several keen-eyed fans have noticed.

The Spartan on the left with the white armor has the skull of a Sangheili, or Elite, mounted proudly on its shoulder. Commenters immediately took to Reddit to propose the awkward conversations that would ensue between the Spartan and any friendly Elites. Then comes the uncomfortable realization that the skull itself is rather small, suggesting the former owner was a younger Elite.

How the skull is acquired isn't known at this time, though it is safe to assume it would be part of the new season pass. There is plenty of content coming with the new season, including maps, modes, the aforementioned season pass, and more. In addition to the Elite Skull, there are plenty of new armor pieces that have been shown off in the trailer and in concept art. All in all, it looks like it might be the shot in the arm this troubled FPS needs.
