Halo Infinite's developers recently announced the details, including release date, schedule, and game content coming to the second Multiplayer Tech Preview for the game. 343 Industries has already started rolling out emails to eligible players who've registered themselves via the Halo Waypoint Insider program before September 13.
The upcoming Halo Infinite Tech Preview will be playable over two weekends, and the developers will be "testing out full-blown multiplayer." However, matchmaking timings will be limited throughout the day. You can find further details on the Halo Technical Preview below.
How to get into Halo Infinite Beta
Players who did not sign up for Halo Infinite Flight can join in the second week of the Beta. Instructions will be shared by the Halo team in the coming week, after the first Beta weekend. Halo Insiders who did register before September 13 have started getting confirmation emails. Make sure to check the promotions and spam categories in your inbox.
Halo Infinite Beta schedule
Weekend 1 will run from September 23 to 26. The pre-release build of the game will be available for installation from the evening of September 23.

Halo Infinite Tech preview Game Modes and Content
- Arena: This 4v4 game mode will include objective modes and will feature a new map on September 26. It will be available throughout the two weekends.
- Big Team Battle: A 12v12 game mode will be playable starting second weekend. It will be bigger than Arena and supposedly more chaotic.
- Set of Weekly and Daily Challenges
- Bot Arena
- Training Mode
- Weapon Drills
- Customization
- Battle Pass
Weapon Drills, Training Mode, Customization experiences, and Battle Pass will remain online and available in-game throughout the two weekends. Further details on all of these game modes and content will be shared with players over the next few days.
Halo Infinite is slated to release on December 8 with a first-time feature for the franchise, a free-to-play multiplayer experience.
