How to mark enemies and ping locations in Halo Infinite Multiplayer

Enemy spotted!

Halo Infinite is the newest entry in the Halo series and it has brought back the frenetic multiplayer of its predecessors. In addition, 343 Industries have implemented many new features into Halo Infinite as well. One such feature is the ping system which allows you to mark enemies, vehicles, locations, and more.

To mark enemies in Halo Infinite and ping their location, press the X key on mouse and keyboard and up on the D-pad on controller. You can also ping vehicles and locations to coordinate with your teammates. Using the ping system is a great way to communicate with your team.

Not only that but you can get awarded medals for using the ping system. If you mark five enemies that are then killed by your allies, you will earn the Spotter medal. If you headshot an enemy soon after marking them, you will earn the Shot Caller medal.

Utilizing the ping system can increase team efficiency as well as call out enemies who may have power weapons or be camping. This is especially true for those who do not play with a microphone. So be a team player and ping those enemies!
