Inside the bakery, you will notice a large ice chest at the far wall. Inside is a big block of ice with a key stored inside. This is one of the keys you need, which means you will need to find a way to get the key out of the ice. The solution to this dilemma is relatively straightforward: you will need to melt the ice away using the firey stove nearby. However, to do this, you will need to find a way to get the baker to move away.

To distract the baker, grab the red crank located inside the storage room to the left of the side door. You can move this crank to the upstairs apartment onto the matching red heater inside the bathroom. When placed on the heater, you can turn the crank to cause a brief distraction that leads the baker away from the kitchen and upstairs to investigate. As soon as you turn the crank, open the bathroom window right behind the heater and jump out. This gives you enough time to walk back into the side door, grab the block of ice, and move it to the fire.

Once the ice is in front of the fire, it will melt away and leave only the key remaining. If you try to grab it, you will quickly realize it is too hot to reach with your bare hands. You'll need to find a way to grab it without burning yourself.

You'll need to walk over to the fire extinguisher hanging on the wall beside the counter to the left of the fire. Grab the extinguisher from the case and extinguish the fire long enough to grab the key safely. Ensure the baker doesn't catch you, or the key will remain in the fire or be placed back into the ice chest. You may have to repeat your distraction a few times to complete all the necessary steps. The key goes to the journal in the upstairs apartment, which reveals one of the missing register keys.
