One of the first choices you'll make in Hogwarts Legacy is which Hogwarts House to join during the Sorting Hat Ceremony. You can be sorted into Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin. You may be wondering what effects the house you are sorted into has on your game. Does it bar you from certain quests or give you access to exclusive ones? We're here to let you know.
This guide is a work in progress, and we will update it if we discover additional House-Specific Quests.
Are there House-Specific Quests in Hogwarts Legacy?
There are, but they are more of a variation of the same quest rather than a House-Exclusive quest. During the Main Story, your player character will meet the ghost of Richard Jackdaw differently each time you play. Gryffindors will be given a quest called The Hunt for the Missing Pages, in which they find Jackdaw with their own house ghost, Nearly Headless Nick. Scrope’s Last Hope is a Slytherin-specific quest in which a House Elf inadvertently introduces you to the ghost. Ravenclaws take on Ollivander’s Heirloom, a quest to investigate a wand that Jackdaw might have stolen. Hufflepuffs receive the infamous Azkaban quest: Prisoner of Love.

All four of these quests come after the Trials of Merlin Main Story quest, and they will all lead to the same quest, Jackdaw's Rest. You should also be able to find the Map with Floating Candles at the end of each of these quests, no matter which one you take on. This variation just gives the main story a bit more flavor. To our knowledge, there are no specific side quests or relationship quests that only students of a certain house can receive.
