Phoenix, the magical bird from the Harry Potter & Fantastic Beasts saga, can be rescued by players in Hogwarts Legacy. This extraordinary bird isn't as readily available as other creatures and can only be procured from a mountain cave during one of the side quests involving Deek.
Is it possible to breed Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy?
First of all, you should know that players cannot breed Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy, unlike other animals in the game such as Hippogriff and Thestrals. This means that you can only keep one Phoenix in your Room of Requirement Vivarium. According to the lore, a Phoenix doesn't require a partner to breed. Once it comes of age, the bird burns itself and rises back from the ashes as a newborn.

Where to find Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy
As mentioned earlier, the first and only Pheonix you acquire in Hogwarts Legacy is by completing certain side quests. This starts with you completing The Room of Requirement quest, assigned to you by Professor Weasley. Later on, you'll start receiving missions from Deek, the house-elf inside the Room of Requirement.
These quests include The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom and Foal of the Dead. After you've been through these missions, Deek will assign you the Phoenix Rising quest in which you have to rescue the bird from poachers from the Phoenix Mountain Cave in the Poidsear Coast region in the southern part of the world map.
