Hogwarts Legacy had an enormous amount of information revealed at PlayStation's Hogwarts Legacy State of Play that streamed live on March 17, 2022. Among this information was the reveal of tameable beasts. Hogwarts Legacy will allow players to tame creatures that they find in the game's large open world. It is not yet clear what these tamed creatures can do or whether they will aid players in combat, but the mechanic will be making an appearance in the game.
What creatures can you ride in Hogwarts Legacy?
There were many creatures shown in the Hogwarts Legacy showcase. Graphorns took center stage, but a short clip of the main character riding a Hippogriff was also riding. These creatures are widely used as a mode of transportation in the wizarding world, so it is only natural that they are rideable in Hogwarts Legacy. The game's final release could see other creatures that are rideable in the movies or books like Dragons or Thestrals, but that remains to be seen.
Players will have other ways to get around the game's world, with a broomstick mechanic also shown in the showcase. Iconic locations like Hogsmeade and Hogsmeade Station will be explorable in the game. Fans can rewatch the showcase in its entirety on PlayStation's official YouTube page.
