Should you learn Imperio in Hogwarts Legacy?

Hogwarts Legacy has a wide selection of magic spells that you can use to complete tasks and eliminate enemies. The game also features the three Unforgivable Curses, Crucio, Imperio, and Avada Kedavra, which can be unlocked via the Sebastian side quests. Should you learn Imperio in Hogwarts Legacy?

The Imperio curse temporarily forces the victim to fight as your companion and hurt other enemies. If you look at it by morality standards, none of the Unforgivable Curses should be used by a wizard. However, you'll find an instance in Hogwarts Legacy when a professor uses one of these spells for good cause. Hence, it's okay for you to learn and use the Imperio spell since you're fighting evil in the game. There will be no repercussions.

How to learn the Imperio curse spell in Hogwarts Legacy

As mentioned earlier, the Imperio spell can be learned by progressing through and completing side quests involving Sebastian, an important character in Hogwarts Legacy who's also a student from House Slytherin. All of Sebastian's missions are named "In the Shadow of...". The particular side quest in which you get the opportunity to learn Imperio is In the Shadow of Time. During the mission, Sebastian will ask you if you want to learn the spell or not, and it's your choice to accept or decline the offer.
