After completing the Main Story in any section of the Map in Honkai: Star Rail, you can always return to battle enemies and hunt for materials, or you can also search for scattered treasures! There are a variety to find, from Basic Chests, to those guarded by Formidable Foes and Warp Trotters. Here's where to find all the Treasure Chests in the Outlying Snow Plains in Honkai: Star Rail.
Where to find the Two Basic Treasure Chests in Honkai Star Rail's Outlying Snow Plains
There are only two Basic Chests to find in this area. One is tucked in the corner behind the abandoned house. The other is up next to a snow pile south and east of the abandoned house.
Where to find the Warp Trotter in Honkai Star Rail's Outlying Snow Plains
The Outlying Snow Plains Warp Trotter is hiding out by a snow bank at about the midpoint of the map. Remember to use Physical, Imaginary, or Quantum element characters to inflict Weakness Break on it before it can run away.

Where to find the Formidable Foe in Honkai Star Rail's Outlying Snow Plains
The Formidable Foe can be found on the western side of the abandoned house in the Outlying Snow Plains. It is guarding a Precious Chest.
Tips for beating the Outlying Snow Plains Formidable Foe
The Formidable Foe fight here includes an Ice Out of Space and two Frostspawns. We were able to defeat it with the starting team of Asta, Physical Trailblazer, Dan Heng, and March 7th. The trick is to save your skills for Asta and Dan Heng, who are of the Fire and Wind Elements and can exploit the Weakness of the boss.
When you open the chest that it guards, you'll find Chorus, a Three-Star Light Cone inside.
