Blade is a five-star Wind character who follows the Path of Destruction. He's a Stellaron Hunter who will do anything to release himself of his immortality, much to the dismay of his fans. If you were lucky enough to pull for this charismatic character in the limited banner, here's everything you need to know on how to build him.
Best Light Cones for Blade in Honkai Star Rail
Most Destruction Light Cones have conditional requirements, which makes them annoying to trigger—especially when playing on auto. Here are some easier options you can use on Blade.
- The Unreachable Side (best five-star option) - This is the best option for Blade as it's his dedicated five-star, so it boosts all of the stats he requires to perform efficiently.
- Under the Blue Sky - A great four-star option that boosts Blade's ATK by default, and further boosts his CRIT Rate upon defeating an enemy.
Best Free-to-Play Light Cone for Blade
The best free-to-play Light Cone for Blade is the three-star Mutual Demise as it increases his CRIT Rate if his HP is under 80 percent. The only downside is that you need to control his HP to maximize the passive bonus, which requires a little more attention during battle.

Best Relic Sets for Blade in Honkai Star Rail
Blade's best-in-slot Relic set would be four pieces of Longevous Disciple, which has bonus stats tailor-fitted to his kit. If you just unlocked the Cavern of Corrosion for this set and need to buy time to farm, I recommend using Eagle of Twilight Line as a temporary placeholder.
- Longevous Disciple
- Two-piece bonus: Increases Max HP by 12 percent.
- Four-piece bonus: When the wearer is hit or has their HP consumed by an ally, their CRIT Rate increases by 8 percent for two turns and up to two stacks.
Which stats should you boost on Blade?
Blade is a DPS through-and-through, so it's a good idea to get a CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG main stat on his Body. I prefer CRIT Rate to make it easier to reach the minimum requirement for his preferred Planar Ornaments. Meanwhile, SPD shoes are always a great option, but if you pair Blade with Advanced Forward and SPD buffers, then you can swap these out for HP ones. Opt for CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, SPD, and HP substats as well.

Best Planar Ornaments for Blade in Honkai Star Rail
Both the Inert Salsotto and Rutilant Arena are great options for Blade, so use whichever set that rolls better substats. Keep in mind that they both have a high CRIT Rate requirement, so make sure to stack this substat on your Relics.
- Inert Salsotto - Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8 percent. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 50 percent or higher, the wearer's Ultimate and follow-up attack DMG increases by 15 percent.
- Rutilant Arena - Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 8 percent. When the wearer’s current CRIT Rate reaches 80 percent or higher, the wearer’s Basic ATK and Skill DMG increase by 20 percent.
For Blade's Planar Ornament main stats, prioritize getting an HP Link Rope and a Wind DMG Planar Sphere.
Best Blade team comp in Honkai Star Rail
Blade is a Wind character who follows the Path of Destruction. He's a main DPS unit who pairs well with supports that can allow him to move faster, including Asta and Bronya. It's also always a good idea to have a healer/cleanser on the team (any will do), especially as Blade consumes HP to deal damage.
