Honkai Star Rail Best Huohuo build – Light Cones, Relics, & more!

Huohuo is a five-star Wind character who follows the Path of Abundance. Despite being a healer by nature, she also offers buffing capabilties typically reserved for Harmony units, making her a highly versatile healer who can slot into most teams.

While Honkai: Star Rail isn't short of survivability supports, Huohuo allows you to condense your healer and buffer into one unit, allowing you to explore more team comps. Here's how I suggest building Huohuo.

Best Light Cones for Huohuo in Honkai Star Rail

Below are all the best Light Cones for Huohuo in Honkai: Star Rail:

• Night of Fright (best-in-slot 5*) - Huohuo's signature Light Cone and her best-in-slot five-star option. It offers an Energy Regeneration Rate bonus, a healing bonus whenever an ally uses their Ultimate, and an extra ATK boost whenever an ally is healed. It's a high utility Light Cone useable by many Abundance units.
• Quid Pro Quo (free 5*) - A free-to-play five-star option purchasable from the Forgotten Hall shop. It offers a random ally an Energy boost when their Energy is under 50%. It's a great support option but offers no direct benefit to Huohuo.
• Hey Over Here (best free 4*) - A free event Light Cone that offers an HP and Outgoing Healing boost. Helps with Huohuo's healing utility but doesn't offer much else.
• Perfect Timing (4*) - Offers an Outgoing Healing increase based on Huohuo's Effect RES. She can maximize the passive due to her high Effect RES stat.
• Shared Feeling (4*) - Offers an Outgoing Healing boost and a small Energy regeneration boost for all allies whenever Huohuo uses her Elemental Skill.

Best Relic Sets and Planar Ornaments for Huohuo in Honkai Star Rail

Huohuo is best paired with any of the following Relic sets:

• Four-piece Messenger Traversing Hackerspace (best-in-slot four-piece set)- boosts SPD and increases SPD for all allies if the wearer targets allies with their Ultimate. Allows Huohuo to further increase her buff roster to buff all allies' SPD whenever she uses her Ultimate.
• Two-piece combos:
  • Two-piece Messenger of Traversing Hackerspace (+6% SPD)
  • Two-piece Longevous Disciple (+12% HP)
  • Two-piece Passerby of Wandering Cloud (+10% Outgoing Healing)

Meanwhile, for Planar Ornaments, I recommend any of the following options:

• Fleet of the Ageless (best-in-slot) - increases max HP and further increases all allies' ATK if Huohuo's SPD is 120 or higher.
• Broken Keel - increases Effect RES and further increases all allies' CRIT DMG if Huohuo's Effect RES is 30% or higher. Synergizes well with the Perfect Timing Light Cone.
• Penacony, Land of the Dreams - increases ERR and further increases DMG for all allies with the same Element type as Huohuo (Wind). Highly situational usage and is only beneficial for Dan Heng and Blade teams as of Version 1.5.

Which stats should you boost on Huohuo?

Huohuo is an HP-scaling healer, so it's important to get her HP up to likewise increase her healing output. In addition, she also requires enough Energy Regeneration Rate to make her Ultimate (which provides a team-wide Energy and ATK buff) useable more often.

• Body: Outgoing Healing
• Feet: SPD
• Rope: ERR or HP
• Sphere: HP

Best Huohuo Team Comps in Honkai Star Rail

Being an Abundance unit with additional support abilities, Huohuo can be paired with practically any team. She performs well as a universal healer, but her potential is maximized in teams with ATK-scaling units, as she can significantly buff their ATK through her Ultimate. With that said, she pairs well with DoT units like Kafka and Sampo. She also has potential in a Mono Wind team with Bronya, Silver Wolf, and either Blade or Dan Heng as they have extremely good synergy.

I recommend staying away from teams with a high SP consumption, primarily driven by units like Jingliu and Imbibitor Lunae (Dan Heng). They can still pair with Huohuo, but you'll have to be more careful about SP management.
