Honkai Star Rail Best Seele build – Light Cones, Relics, and More!

Disappear! Wait, where have we heard that before?

The first Limited Five-Star Character of the game, Seele, is an expy character from Honkai Impact 3rd, a formidable fighter, and one of only two characters in the first version of the game with the Quantum Element. Whether you got her luckily on some early pulls or invested into the game just to fit her into your roster, I can help you build her to become a stealthy, scythe-wielding reaper. Here's how to build Seele in Honkai: Star Rail.

Best Light Cone for Seele in Honkai Star Rail

As a Limited Five-Star Character, Seele has a Five-Star Light Cone to match. It is called In the Night and must be pulled from the Limited Light Cone Event Warp. This Gacha Banner requires you to use Special Warp Passes, which may be better saved for other Limited Characters if you are a free-to-play player.

Best free-to-play Light Cone for Seele in Honkai Star Rail

Luckily, there is a Five-Star, free-to-play Light Cone that also works well for Seele called Cruising in the Stellar Sea. You can only obtain one copy of it from Herta's Store as a reward for fighting in the Simulated Universe. It is technically designed to be used for the Trailblazer (I'm presuming it'll unlock a Hunt Path for them soon,) but for now, it would probably be best to use it on Seele until you need to decide who gets it later.

Otherwise, you can also use some perfectly good Four-Star options, like Swordplay or River Flows in Spring. Any Light Cone that boosts Seele's damage is advisable.

Best Relic sets for Seele in Honkai Star Rail

Seele's best Relic Set is the Genius of Brilliant Stars set that can be farmed from the Path of Providence Cavern of Corrosion. This set is about boosting Quantum Element characters' damage, which Seele and I appreciate.

For Planar Ornaments, you could use the Inert Salsotto or the Celestial Differentiator, which boosts Critical Rate and Critical Damage, respectively. If you can't decide which one you need, remember that it is generally best for characters to have a 1:2 Critical Rate to Critical Damage ratio.

Which of Seele's Stats should you boost?

Here are the Main Stats we recommend using for Seele on Relic pieces that can vary:

  • Feet: Speed or Attack%
  • Body: Crit Rate or Crit Damage
  • Sphere: Quantum Damage
  • Rope: Attack% or Energy Regen Rate

Seele's Path and Element in Honkai Star Rail

Seele is a Quantum Element character who follows the path of The Hunt. As her Element is relatively rare, you can add her to any team fighting enemies weak to the Quantum element. Just make sure you don't place too many fighters in a team and have characters that can heal or shield your team.

Who pairs well with Seele in Combat?

Since Seele is about dealing damage rapidly, plan to pair her with Harmony Characters that can boost her damage or speed. Tingyun, Asta, and yes... Bronya, all work incredibly well for this. As we said above, ensure you include sustaining characters in any team you build around her, like Natasha or March 7th. Lastly, if you are fighting enemies weak to the Quantum element, you could also include Qingque in the team to break down their Toughness Bars quickly and deal quick damage.

Seele is a great character to build if you get her. Want to know what characters you may want to avoid building in Honkai: Star Rail? Check out Worst Characters in Honkai Star Rail here at Pro Game Guides.
