When is Honkai Star Rail coming out?

Honkai: Star Rail is an ambitious upcoming game developed by HoYoverse (miHoYo), the company responsible for Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3, and Tears of Themis. In this sequel that leverages Honkai Impact 3, players can go on a trailblazing adventure across the galaxy, discovering new worlds, collecting Stellaron, and making new friends along the way.

Star Rail is currently in its final beta test, with a nearly perfect gameplay experience and only typical beta bugs that need to be smoothed out. With that said, your opportunity to board the Astral Express could just be a few months away.

When is Honkai: Star Rail coming out on mobile and PC?

Pre-registrations for Honkai: Star Rail has officially begun. Players can click on the official link to get directed to either the App Store or Google Play Store (when accessing from mobile) or the official site (when accessing from PC). By pre-registering, players can score a plethora of in-game rewards upon launch, including 20 Star Rail Passes and a four-star character, Serval.

While HoYoverse has not officially announced an official release date for Star Rail, the App Store indicates that the game may arrive on April 26, 2023. This is the expected release date that HoYoverse has given the App Store but is not a final date. The final beta Satisfaction Survey will be released on March 10, 2023, so there would be a short gap between the final beta and official release if the App Store date is to be believed.

The game may come earlier or later—consider following their official Twitter account for live updates. Since Honkai: Star Rail offers a cross-platform experience between PC and mobile, you can expect the game to release on both platforms at the same time unless unexpected delays occur on either side.

Will Honkai: Star Rail release on PS4 or PS5?

HoYoverse has currently not announced any plans on releasing Honkai: Star Rail to PlayStation and other consoles. However, the beta has full controller support, although it is a little buggy based on our testing experience.
