How to beat the Scrybe of the Dead in Inscryption

Act 2 of Inscryption allows the player to start a new game and it truly is a new game. In this act, players do not explore Leshy's cabin but rather four different regions, each belonging to a Scrybe. The player must defeat these four Scrybes to beat Act 2. One of these is Grimora, Scrybe of the Dead.

To battle Grimora, the Scrybe of the Dead, players must first complete the tombstone puzzle and defeat the three spirits within the Temple of the Dead. After finishing these tasks, players will battle Grimora. Like the other Scrybes and bosses, she has two phases.

Grimora utilizes the cycle of life and death as the player battles her. In her first phase, she will create an epitaph for each of her cards that is killed. Each card the player kills will return in a few turns in the same space it was previously. Of these, players should prioritize killing the Sarcophagus before it evolves.

In her second phase, Grimora will destroy all your cards on the field. She will add them back to your hand but in severely weakened stats. For this phase, you will have to deal with the same strategy that Grimora used in phase one except she has new cards in addition to the previous ones. Still prioritize killing the Sarcophagus and you will beat Grimora, the Scrybe of the Dead.
