When does Jump Space Release?

Jump Space releases on September 19, 2025 at 7AM PT / 10AM ET / 3PM BST / 4PM CEST on PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X | S. If you want to know how much longer until then, you can check our handy countdown timer below.

Jump Space Roadmap

The Jump Space roadmap is divided into multiple chapters over this and next year, showing us what features are already in the game and which ones will be added in future updates. The roadmap could also change, so not everything is set in stone.

Chapter 1 The Resistance Coalition (Early Access Launch)

At launch, Jump Space will have:

  • 9 Mission Types
  • 50+ Playable sectors
  • 4 Unlockable galaxy regions
  • 2 Ships to pilot
  • 26 Ship components
  • 8 Player weapons
  • 16 Ship enemies
  • 11 Ground enemies

Chapter 2 Atira Strikes Back (Early Access Launch to Q1 2026)

Text Chat and Lobby browser will be available at Jump Space launch, but there are several planned updates for Q1 2026 which you can see below:

  • Endless mode
  • New Gun and Melee weapons
  • Hangar Vendors
  • Offline Support
  • More Sectors as well as added Sector Modifiers
  • New Ship as well as more Components and Artifacts
  • New Story, Mission types and Enemies
  • Ship Shield revamp and Buddybot improvements
  • Slide Movement
  • Photo Mode

Chapter 3 Secrets of Telmari (Q1 2026 to TBD)

As for the rest of 2026, Jump Space is planning to add:

  • More Sectors, Missions types and a Story expansion
  • New Ship, Gun, and Weapon types
  • New Enemies as well as a Ground Boss
  • 1s Person Pilot view
  • Voice Chat
  • Scanner Revamp

There could be more added to this chapter 3 roadmap, but there's also an unknown Chapter 4 Heart of Corruption section that we don't know about. All in all, lots of updates planned for the game to improve your experience, as well as keep the game alive and replayable.

Is Jump Space full release?

No, Jump Space is releasing into Early Access. From the developer estimates, the game will be in early access for at least five months, if not more.

How much will Jump Space cost?

Jump Space will cost $19.99 at release on September 19, 2025. However, with updates, the game will get a price increase. This will be announced beforehand.

How many players can join the party?

Jump Space is a co-op exploration game with up to four players. That means you and three more friends.
