When does Killing Floor 3 come out?

Killing Floor 3 wasn't given a release date as part of the reveal. You can add it to your wishlist to keep track of any future developments, including its eventual release date.

Considering how we're getting closer to wrapping up 2023, however, it's looking like a game we can expect sometime in 2024 or later. The first Killing Floor was released in 2009, and its sequel was released seven years later in 2016.

What platforms is Killing Floor 3 on?

While we didn't get any definitive news on a release date, the developers did tell us what platforms to expect Killing Floor 3 on. It's currently set for release on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. This means the last-gen Xbox One and PS4 are being left behind, and it doesn't look like the Nintendo Switch will be joining in on the fun.

We've seen games get Switch ports later down the line for many big releases. Games that have no business running on the console, like The Witcher 3 and Doom Eternal, have both made it work, so perhaps it could still happen in the future for Killing Floor 3. It could even be a cloud release like Kingdom Hearts.

Killing Floor 3 trailer

Perhaps an indication the game isn't very far along in development, the world premiere trailer of Killing Floor 3 showcased hardly any gameplay. In the trailer, we get a glimpse at how gruesome things are going to be, and fans of the franchise won't be let down.

If you're looking for a fast-paced FPS where you mow down monsters, it's looking like Killing Floor 3 will be right up your alley. If you haven't played any games in the franchise yet, now would be a perfect time to get started as you wait for the sequel.
