As we patiently await Kirby and the Forgotten Land's Mar. 25 release date, new information on a separate Kirby video game may have been revealed. Today, Twitter user @Dededaio shared a teaser image for the Japanese magazine called Nintendo Dream. The image has Japanese text that hints that a new Kirby game may be revealed in the next issue, and it isn't the Forgotten Land.
The full text, as translated by Dededaio, reads as follows, "New issue will release it on Monday, February 21. In addition to detailed news about Kirby and The Forgotten Land, we’ve also included a new game that we didn’t expect! … I have a feeling that a new title will be announced."
It isn't unheard of for Kirby to have more than one game released in the same year. Sometimes a smaller Kirby title will release around the same timeframe as a bigger Kirby game. The Kirby franchise will also occasionally release mini-games as separate titles, like Super Kirby Clash and Kirby Fighters. We won't know if or what type of game will be announced until the Feb. 21 issue of Nintendo Dream.
