Does LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga have Character customization?

There's still more variety than you'd think.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is going back on a promise made by a developer in 2019. When speaking with HipHopGamer, TT Games level designer Mike Consalvey said players will be able to customize their characters.

Can you create custom characters in LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga?

Since LEGO Star Wars: The Original Trilogy, character customization has been a huge feature in LEGO games. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does not offer Character Customization, as confirmed by developer TT Games on Twitter.

According to the TT Games Twitter, sometimes features change during development, which is true, but it is a staple of LEGO games. Players will have over 300 characters to choose from, so there is a lot of variety. Still, the only LEGO game without a character customization menu was the original LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Rock Band.

This is not to say that TT Games won't add it in the future. Patches can sometimes add big features. It will be interesting to see if the developer can add this after the release.
