How to build Power Core in Lightyear Frontier

In survival games, there's always that one material that is very hard to craft but also very useful. You'll miss out on a lot of great structures if you don't know how to build Power Core in Lightyear Frontier.

Lightyear Frontier Power Core Build Guide

You need an Assembler to build a Power Core, and you have to harvest a lot of Noxious Pods. The Noxious Pods are to be crafted in Noxious Spores, and then four Noxious Spores will assemble into a Power Core. This is an advanced structure, so I'll assume you already have access to Aluminum Bars for the Assembler.

How to get Noxious Pods

The only way to get Noxious Pods is from Noxious Weeds, poisonous plants that fly down on your structures every other morning. Using the Vacuum Harvester, you can extract Noxious Pods from the weeds. The tricky part is that you have to use the Vacuum Harvester while Noxious Weeds are in the air; otherwise, you will get just Plant Fibre. The Noxious Weeds appear in the first minute of the day, so have your Vacuum Harvester ready as soon as you wake up.

How to craft Noxious Spore

Once you gathered eight Noxious Pods, you need to craft an Assembler from the Build menu if you haven't already. To build an Assembler, you need the following ingredients:

• 1x Plant Oil
• 4x Aluminum Rod
• 5x Stone

You can make Plant Oil in the Oil Presser, which I presume you already have by this point. Aluminum Bars and Stone are also very accessible once you clear Pine Heights. Access the Assembler you built and select Noxious Spore, which you can make for two Noxious Pods each. After you created four Noxious Spores, you can assemble them in a single Power Core.
