How long does the PS4 to PS5 upgrade offer last?

Games with the free upgrade path will presumably keep that forever, but more and more games are phasing out the offers as the PS5 becomes easier to find. The Resident Evil 4 Remake is an example of a game still keeping the upgrade path, but annual sports titles have begun to stop offering it.

The NBA 2K series has separated the franchise by offering a current-gen version, meaning PS4 and Xbox One, while the Next-Gen version is exclusive to Xbox Series X|S and PS5. There is no free upgrade available for that game, but there are still developers keeping the program alive, as we've seen with Capcom.
