Where to find the entry point to the Crime Scene in Lost Judgment – Chapter 4: Red Knife Story Guide

Investigation mixed with parkour

In Chapter 4, Yagami is trying to find where Hiro Mikoshiba was murdered. Upon heading to the crime scene, Yagami sees that it's locked and, due to it still being daytime, needs to find an alternate entry point.

You'll automatically go into Investigation mode. From the entrance of the locked door, head left towards the playpark. Look towards the green fence you'll see a lone brown chair on your left. To the right of it, you'll see that some of the fence is bent. Go towards this part of the fence and hold R2 or RT to focus and press X or A—a cutscene will play out, and you have found your entry point.

Next on the agenda is getting into the building itself. Once again, you'll go into investigation mode, trying to find a way up to a window up above. Look directly behind you at the AC Unit next to the green fence, focus on it, and press X or A.

How to Sneak into the Building

With the AC unit examined, you can now get full control of Yagami and can climb up it. You are then introduced to more parkour—wall running. Run towards the edge of the platform you are on, and then press Circle or B when the prompt appears in time to successfully wall run. If you don't press the prompt in time, you'll fall to the floor below and have to climb up the AC unit again to try again.

After you've successfully managed to wall-run, climb up the AC unit on your left, sidle to the new platform, then run and jump towards the bar. Like the wall-run press Circle or B when the prompt appears, swing on the pipe to leap to the platform opposite. If you fail, you'll be on the bottom floor and have to do everything again.

Here you can climb the ladder in front of you for a Toughness Z drink, but this is optional. What you need to do is go towards the white pipe. This will make Yagami go into parkour climbing mode. When across the pipe, climb the pipe on your right, then head to the left.

Jump to the pipe to your right by holding the left analog stick to the left, and press Circle or B. Continue to the left. At the end of the pipe, jump upwards to the pipes above, then navigate left again, then drop down at the end by pressing down and Circle/B. Examine the window to gain entry.

How to find the spot where the body was found

This part is straightforward. Not a lot of detective work is necessary. Fall to where the arrow is on the ground, and walk up to it. A cutscene will play out. Then examine the arrow and the blood in Investigation mode. That's all you have to do.
