Madden 23 gives you full control over how you pass the ball, whether it be throwing bullet passes, leading passes, lob passes, and more. The lob pass will allow you to float the ball over defenders and put some air into your throws. Here is how to throw a lob pass in Madden 23.
Madden 23 Lob Pass Controls
To throw a lob pass, tap the receiver icon you want to pass to. Make sure you tap the icon and do not press it too long or you may throw a touch pass or even a bullet pass if you hold down the button. The lob pass can be combined with a high or low pass modifier to make sure you are throwing exactly where you want to.

Madden 23 features precision passing controls, so you can lead the receiver or put it in a location only he can grab it. Once you pass the ball, you will see the throw location in the circle surrounding your receiver.
Lob passes are helpful for allowing the fastest receivers to run past defenders. By lobbing a pass, your receiver has plenty of time to position themselves to catch the ball out of a defender's reach. If your receiver is running a long route in man coverage, lob passes can be great for creating distance and throwing further.
