Sparks provide elemental advantage in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, and they’re adorable

Ubisoft has provided information about Sparks, one of the main gameplay mechanics and story features in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. These cuddly-looking critters can provide various elemental powers when you equip them.

This news comes via the official Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Twitter, which states, in part, "Join forces with the Sparks and use their power to gain the upper hand in combat." The Twitter feed then goes on to detail several Sparks you can encounter in the game (all of which are adorable) and the powers they provide your characters. This includes:

• Toxiquake: The Slime Shockwave Master
• Exosphere: The Team Shield
• Aquanox: It's Splash Time
• Reflector: Reflects back attacks at the foes
• Vampdash: The Health Stealer
• Glitter: Enemies can't resist sick beats
• Ethering: Ghostwalk past opponents
• Pyrogeddon: Meteor rain on the adversaries
• Starburst: Booster of the team

Sparks will be able to change how you play Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. You will be able to experiment with different strategies by changing out which Spark you have equipped to each character. Collecting them all will let you expertly control the battlefield.
