Is Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope a sequel?

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is a sequel to the first Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It features a familiar cast as well as new members like Rosalina and the Lumas. You can expect to see many more Rabbid variants, including Rabbid Lumas. The sequel does away with the grid system from the previous title and instead allows more free movement around the battlefield. This opens up much more tactical freedom than Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
