It’s incredibly crucial to complete the leveling process for yourself and for your individual characters. In this guide, we will tell you how to do this for both your heroes and yourself.

Level Types

Like mentioned before, MARVEL Strike Force has two different level systems: Your account level, and the level(s) of your characters. Players need to upgrade each one separately.

To level yourself and your characters, you need to acquire Experience (XP) points. The more XP earned the quicker you can rank your commander level up. By raising your own level, you can unlock additional features of the game. For example, if you want to try your chances in Real-Time Arena battles, you have to be level 64.

In addition to this, your characters also unlock new abilities as they level up and become more powerful. In short, both you and your characters gain levels separately.

Commander Levels

The most XP points that you earn will come from completing campaign missions and daily objectives. It’s vital that you progress and complete these, as all the other features of the game depend on it.

For example, the events feature, which is also an additional XP source, does not become available for players until they reach level 8. So try to complete the campaign nodes and daily objectives as quickly as possible!

Character Levels

For characters to grow they need to be equipped with items called gear pieces. When they collect all six gear pieces, characters can then level up to higher gear tiers. You can find each character’s gear pieces hidden as rewards when completing campaign nodes, or from one of the game stores.

In addition, characters also need to be leveled up through their star number. To level up each character’s star number, a certain number of characters shards needs to be collected in order to level up. The higher the star you’re aiming for, the more character shards need to be collected.

You need a total of 810 shards to upgrade each character to star rank seven (highest star), so this is not something you can complete anytime soon. Collecting shards to rank star will take time, and is an investment for the future.

Now you are ready to level up and become the next big thing in the Strike Force arena. Good luck Commander, and as always, keep on Strike forcin’!
