Minecraft Legends has a different approach to its Overworld

Save the Overworld.

Minecraft Legends features a different approach to the Overworld than the core Minecraft experience. Instead of mining and changing the world, you are tasked with living in harmony with all aspects of it as you fend off the Piglin invasion from the Nether.

The Minecraft Legends Twitter states, "In #MinecraftLegends, you’ll discover an Overworld filled with surprising treasures and perilous perils. But there’s so much more to this legend. Find out why it’s so exciting to explore the Overworld!" These changes and different approaches make the Overworld such a joy to explore in Minecraft Legends.

Rather than crafting the world to meet your needs, you will be protecting it and using it strategically. A new structure, the Well of Fate, plays a key role in repelling Piglin armies. It allows you to upgrade and unlock new abilities and provides a fast travel system to navigate the Overworld. This is particularly useful in saving villages under attack.

Another key difference is that you will not be mining resources but rather working together with Allays to gather the materials needed to build your structures. These helpful mobs will help you discover the riches of the Overworld and save this precious land from the invading Piglins.
