To do this, simply go to create a new world in the Bedrock version of Minecraft, and enable cheats and then click an option under cheats that says enable education edition. doing so will then let you access all educational edition items and content in Minecraft.

For the download method, PC users can either download the game via the regular installer option or go to the windows store and download it from there.  If you choose that option, it's just a matter of loading into your Mircosoft account and downloading it from the store.

For other platforms, you can find the version you need to download under the section at the bottom of the page that says "Additional Platforms."
