How to Fruitberries Bridge in Minecraft

Learn this high-level technique right now!

Fruitberries bridging is an advanced movement technique in Minecraft. The technique allows you to rapidly build a bridge across a void or empty space in a straight line. This makes it incredibly block efficient and is excellent for manhunts, speed runs, and PvP. Named after the YouTuber Fruitberries, who pioneered the technique, it’s one of the most impressive looking ways to bridge in Minecraft.

To Fruitberries bridge yourself, you’ll need to practice. The basic technique is to jump backward a short distance, while using your crosshair to precisely aim at the points where a new block will be built. You’ll be building blocks as you jump, but before you land.

Slowed down to its most basic parts: to Fruitberries bridge, you must place one block at the start of your jump and another as you begin to fall.

Step by Step Fruit Berries Bridging

The first step is to aim at the top three pixels of the edge of the block you’re trying to bridge from.

Next, you’ll need to jump backward, by tapping your back key but holding your jump button. In the basic keyboard setup, you’ll be tapping the S key and holding the Spacebar.

Finally, as your jump begins, click to place the first block, and click again as your jump reaches its maximum height to place your second block.

If you’ve done it correctly, you’ll be placing blocks in a straight line without falling and without building upwards. Continue holding the jump button, and tapping back to continue the bridge.

Fruitberries bridging is a complex technique to master and will take a lot of practice. Do not be discouraged if you can’t do it immediately. The best thing to do is to go into a creative world and practice as long as possible because you can quickly turn on and off flying with the jump button. Practice on a flat area first before moving to ledges over water, and then finally an open space over the void.

The technique is all about rhythm. You need to be holding your jump to hop a short distance while only tapping the movement button. It’s far easier to do the more you try. Put in some hours practicing, and soon you’ll be Fruitberries bridging like a pro!
